As a South Asian woman, I bring a culturally informed perspective to BIPOC counselling, grounded in lived experience within a multicultural society. This allows me to honour the values and beliefs clients hold while also recognizing the internal conflicts that can arise when navigating multiple cultural identities.
With over ten years of experience as a Behaviour Interventionist, I have supported children, youth, and adults with disabilities including Autism, ADHD, OCD, and Down Syndrome. This work strengthened my skills in consistent support, communication, and strengths-based behaviour change.
In addition, my background as a Family Lawyer offers a unique lens on conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and navigating high-stress life transitions. Together with my counselling training, I aim to create a safe, compassionate, and supportive space—whether in person or online—for individuals seeking guidance and meaningful change.

My counselling philosophy is grounded in cultural humility, inclusivity, and respect for lived experience. As a South Asian woman raised within a multicultural society, I approach therapy with an understanding that cultural values, beliefs, and family systems shape how we experience ourselves and our relationships. I believe effective therapy honours these influences while also exploring the internal conflicts that can arise when navigating multiple identities.
Guided by a strengths-based and collaborative approach, I emphasize consistency, compassion, and clear communication in the therapeutic process. My background as both a Behaviour Interventionist and a Family Lawyer informs my work with individuals and families navigating stress, conflict, and major life transitions. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space—whether in person or virtually—where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in meaningful change.
